International Women's Day

To feed your mind with books is the one of the simplest ways to celebrate the International Women's Day.

Often we leave our appreciation unspoken, today we all say "Happy International Women's Day"!

Back To Earth

I've been standing alone here, on an unknown spinning asteroid.
You left me while I was lost in euphoria.
And oxygen from my oxy-tank is starting to run out.
Dizzy.
Light-headed.
Breathless.
Dear you, who brought me to the outer space...
would you please bring me back home?
I wanna go back.

To Earth.

Me and Korean Drama

Here the story goes.

My two younger sisters Resna, Devira, and I were so bored that we decided to watch some DVDs. They told and insisted me on watching Korean or Japanese dramas. Seemed like they really wanted me to do so. I told my sisters I'd never been into Korean dramas so I chose the Japanese one instead. But unfortunately, Proposal Daisakusen, the DVD we were going to watch was being borrowed by Resna's friend. There was no choice but to watch Korean drama just like what my sisters wanted.

"Dek, I can watch Korean drama, but there are things you have to keep in mind. First, I don't want a drama consisting of too many episodes, kay. Second, I don't like an ordinary love story." Knowing that, Resna suggested that I watch a Korean drama titled "49 Days". FYI, this is the third Korean drama I've ever watched, after Endless Love (when I was a senior high school student) and Full House (when I was a high school student). Cool. Ummm. I don't intend to tell you the story nor the summary here, you can just google it if you want. All I wanted to say is, and I have to admit that, the story is unpredictable (in spite of the storyline that doesn't make sense, of course, hehe). I cried, like, several times! My sisters looked so satisfied seeing me crying like that. Hah. I know. That was kind of embarrassing. I used to tease them I said, "there's no use crying over Korean dramas" and what happened next is I cried a lot. Haha. Damn, you two! Then, they laughed out loud. What an achievement.

The next day, with a smirking smile, Resna offered me to watch another Korean drama again. As I had nothing else to do, I nodded. The title is Baker King. Hm, I remembered the days before, when my sisters watched the drama, I was asking the title of the drama and they said, "Baker King". I laughed again and replied, "Hahaha... what? Raja Roti?" Long story short, I finally watched the so-called Baker King drama. And yeah, I couldn't hold my tears. Again. I had even been galau-ing over the drama for a couple of days since the last day I watched it. Haha...

Never judge something if you know nothing. Lesson learned.
